GREEN GAS PRODUCTION
Electrolysis materials
We are creating the materials underpinning the clean energy transition. Our products increase the performance of water and CO₂ electrolysers - replacing inefficient porous components such as metallic meshes, felts, sintered metal powders, and conventional metal foams.

2% of global CO₂ emissions
Hydrogen is essential for producing fertilizers and refining oil into higher-quality products. Today's hydrogen market is worth about €130 billion and relies heavily on "grey hydrogen" made through steam methane reforming.
Grey hydrogen comes with major environmental costs. For every ton produced, it generates 10-19 tons of CO₂ emissions, contributing nearly 2% of global carbon dioxide output.
Making green hydrogen affordable
"Green" hydrogen offers a cleaner alternative. Made by splitting water into hydrogen and oxigen using renewable energy, it produces virtually no emissions. This opens two key opportunities:
- Replace grey, GHG-intense hydrogen
- Decarbonize steel production, aviation, and shipping
Despite its environmental benefits, green hydrogen remains expensive preventing its adoption.
The transition from grey to green hydrogen represents a critical step toward reducing industrial emissions, but economic challenges must be addressed first.
