Junior Thermal & System Engineer – High Performance Liquid Cooling Solutions

About apheros:
We are pioneering metal foam-based cooling solutions for AI-servers and more. Our materials are integrated into cooling solutions for both single and two-phase direct-to-chip liquid cooling - enabling better performance, hotspot management, and energy savings.

What you will do:
- Design prototypes and build test setups for validation of cooling performance and reliability
- Conduct hands-on testing of prototypes, analysing experimental data to improve designs
- Design optimization of cooling solutions and customization for different hardware
- Support customer co-development projects across the board
- Contribute to R&D and innovation in sustainable cooling technologies
What we are looking for:
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering (e.g., Electrical, Mechanical)
- A strong understanding of thermal management, electronics, and basic fluid dynamics principles
- High motivation, an eagerness to learn quickly
- A pragmatic, collaborative mindset
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
What sets you apart:
- Strong project experience in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or Control Systems
- Involvement in student projects or internships related to cooling, heat transfer, or data center technology
- Familiarity with basic engineering tools (e.g., CAD, CFD, Python programming, data logging software)
- Strong alignment with a collaborative, and dynamic culture
